Rummaging Archives: State Library of NSW 1970s Fashion

Having worked in museums, I have a big appreciation of archival digitisation. Photographing, scanning, videoing and cataloguing museum collections online makes them accessible for more people and ensures they are preserved for the future or in the case of any emergencies. One of my favourite things to do is browse museum, gallery and library archives - they’re great for design inspiration, local history, or simply feeding my curiosity.

On a recent rummage, I found so many interesting images of fashion in the 1970s on the State Library of NSW’s archives, that I just have to share them. Here are a few of my favourites!
